Ecology
- Man is the menace of all things in nature.
- If mere existence is the criterion oflife, the animals and worms exist better than human beings by living in harmony with nature, using and renewing it without destroying it.
- Degradation of nature for obtaining material resources is eternal regress.
- We are brazenly engaged the world over, with the West most sinning, in robbing posterity of their heritage of the unique flora and fauna of earth by our unthinking and rapid dissipation and wastage of resources without any pricks of conscience or even a blush.
- Man is made of gravity, air, water and other elements, which are the forces of earth; he needs them, as a unit of life. His body is composed of cellular mechanism and chemical synergies based on these basic components which create life. In polluting and degrading them, we are corrupting the compositions which form us. We cannot abandon earth, as physically, we cannot live without gravity, since we get disoriented even in walking, ifwe spend some serious time in space. Earth is our mother. It is our be all and end all. At the present rapid rate of environmental desecration, we shall be leaving a planet poisoned by fuels and fumes for our children by the end of this century.
- Man is born of gravity. He has no where to go except earth, which he is swiftly polluting to make it uninhabitable within a century or so. He is committing collective harakari mindlessly.
- Unless the people of the earth unite to keep their habitat from biodegradation and deforestation, they will also become endangered species .

About Rasheed Akhund
In every family, if one is lucky, there appears a figure so marvellously singular, so steeped in wisdom and warmth that he becomes a sort of personal North Star. Rasheed Ahmed Akhund was such a man; measured, principled and enigmatic. A man who, like the best of us, lived not for show but for substance. He belonged to a dwindling class of men who thought deeply, spoke sparingly and forgave quietly.

“lf you attempt to prove existence of God with cold logic, you will land him in contradictions. If you feel him warmly, he is universal love and sense of perfection.”
