Europeans

  1. The white colonized the benighted people of the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic oceans to bring the blessings of Bible, syphilis, smallpox and opium to them .
  2. English were the shearers of sheep before the industrial revolution. They knew how to shear the wealth of their many colonies to the skin.
  3. The imperial English were the most law abiding nation. They will have their parliament pass a law in the name of supine crown, take over an invaded colony legally and strip it bare to the bones economically, according to the rule of law.
  4. The Spanish, Dutch and English, the imperialists of the last four centuries, have entered into an unholy alliance with America, the super power and the only imperialist of the 21st century, to rule the world.
  5. The English are a reticent people. They act more and chatter less unlike French or Italians
  6. They also ruled over the largest empire in the world with restrained greed and brought the benefit of science to their colonies. Every evil has some good in it.
  7. An Englishman’s morality begins and ends in utilitarian comforts for the most.
  8. The English possess robust common sense. They ruled the largest empire in the world with it, and did not need geniuses; raw power, brutality and tact were enough.
  9. The European colonists and missionaries inherited the earth from the 18th century onwards for the reason that they were not meek. They were more shrewd and lucky than the rest of the world; and definitely unbiblical.
  10. The English are not extremists like French. They modestly indulge in their immodesties.

About Rasheed Akhund

In every family, if one is lucky, there appears a figure so marvellously singular, so steeped in wisdom and warmth that he becomes a sort of personal North Star. Rasheed Ahmed Akhund was such a man; measured, principled and enigmatic. A man who, like the best of us, lived not for show but for substance. He belonged to a dwindling class of men who thought deeply, spoke sparingly and forgave quietly.

“A person cannot say that reality is above human comprehension because, being human, he cannot know that there is anything above his comprehension"

- on Philosophy

“lf you attempt to prove existence of God with cold logic, you will land him in contradictions. If you feel him warmly, he is universal love and sense of perfection.”
